HOLY SHIT its Milliey and Bell from homeroom!
Where did this photo come from?

They say my obsession with Bundaberg Rum started from a very young age.
Thankfully I gave up my obsession with inappropriately high pants and strange footwear years ago.

Today I feel like this.
Because I don't have to go to school :)

And there's nobody in my house except me.

And there's icecream in the fridge and 4 episodes of Scrubs to watch..

and about 2349857245 hours of study to do. Japanese writing/reading tommorow. Multi and English Thursday. Maths and Futures Friday.

Eep. Meh.

How much do I love the internet?

Swine.

Well, that was hard.
Life is hard.

I just told Aidan something really big, and now i'm wallowing in a giant chasm of self pity.

He's making me feel better now, so that's good.

My belly hurts.

Well this week was Swine Flu Week. Not officially, just in my own little world. I got sick on Sunday (just the flu, nothing remotely Swiney) and was forced to completer a 2000 word religion and ethics assignment while sneezing so hard i'm surprised my brain is still intact.
I was forced to go to school to hand it in, then got to go home and dose up on Strepsils and Codral and yoghurt.
The next day saw much of the same thing.
The next day, as it got progressively colder, saw much of the same thing plus having to endure 6 lessons of ice-cold torture and a 3 lesson tissue-famine.

It wasn't pretty, to say the least.
What was worse is that Rory decided he was going to go to Sydney and not stay home for 7 days like the school rule states and displease us all in English with his uncontrollable sniffling and his innability to get a tissue like everyone else.
Oh and also his random upheavals of phlegm and the accompanying dashes to the garden bed downstairs.
The garden is not your hock-bed, fool. Though you are potentially man's closest living relation to the pig anyway, you poor thing.

*Cringes with the memory of him gurgling "khen aye go owside, peese?" in english the last time he was sick*

Woah that was disgusting.

In other news, it was Free Dress Day yesterday, and by some cruel twist of fate, i remembered my camera. Turns out it wasnt so cruel.
It was fun, and i got heaps of photos in Multistrand and lunch.

I watched some snippets of "The L Word" today, it looks rather good, although somehow the sound wasn't working.
Someone buy me a boxset for my birthday.
Not The L Word particularly, just anything good.

Time for some H2O, my sister left the window open and i'm shrivelling up without my trusty waterbottle.

Laters.

FAP.

Haha. I HAD to have this. ^

Well I officially have not blogged in well over FOREVER but I will try to make up for it.

Well lots has happened in the past few weeks and what's scary is that at the moment I don't have the brainpower to remember a single one.

Hold Up. Yoghurt break.

Back. Yummm.. Okay while I was sitting outside with a cup-full of yoghurt I deliberated on what I should actually talk about. These things have happened since.. umm.. whatever time I blogged last. When monkeys were at the top of the evolutionary chain or something as equally not-funny:

1. I did a really crappy job on both my Maths A assignment and my multistrand prac report. Due to the new house and everything else my brain has the functional capability of a walnut right now. Which stinks because my work is paying the price.

2. I got a super awesome letter from Aidan including: -Koara's -other yummy things - a letter from his friend misaki -lots of cool shit.

3. I got my hair did. The chick who did it was horrendously STUPID and both did what I asked her NOT to do and charged me $150 freakin' dollars for it. Not happy, MAN.

4. Queensland won state of origin, as can be expected.

5. Me Cheanna Georgia and Bec are planning a sleepover foursome over the holidays.

It's just 4 sleepovers, all themed and at different people's places. Do you feel disgusting now? Go and wash your filthy brain out with some 7Up and FOCUS.

First will be girls night at Cheanna's. We will watch girly movies, gossip girl (that physcologically overwhelming brain-suck) and other girly shows, do our hair, nails and put facemasks on. We're going to eat delicate and delicious things and wear pretty things and go to bed late talking about boys.. and feelings.. and ponies.. and stickers.

Next will be blokes night, at Mine. Hell. Freakin'. Yeah. There's a few different suggestions as to what we will be doing on this night but it will roughly consist of: Riding our bikes around while wearing loose fitting pants. There will be flannies. We're going to eat pies and chips and watch action movies and horror films and SCRUBS and go to bed late punching things and creating weird barely-liquid concoctions for eachother to drink and wake up and go out wearing the same scrappy clothes we went to sleep in. There was also a suggestion that we should paint our entire bodies different colours and joust. Okay, it was me.

THENNN will be transgender night or transvestite night, we're unsure of which sounds the least creepy, hosted by Geo. We'll be watching strange things like the L word and wearing strange mis-matching things and eating strange fusions of things. A strange night to be had by all.

Then comes Superhero night. By Bec. We choose a superhero, dress up like them and watch cartoons and fun things and do weirdly daring things (I'm thinking jumping into the pool with a pogo stick?). It shall be EPIC.

Whether or not these events will ACTUALLY go ahead is beyond me, but i hope they do.

Now it seems I should go to bed, however I must tell you of the book I am reading, Jodi Picoult's 'The Tenth Circle." It's better than good. Which is good. It's about a teenage girl Trixie who is raped by her ex-boyfriend Jason and after trying to commit suicide and becoming a suspect for Jason's death, she runs away to Alaska where her father, a famous comic book artist, grew up. I love it because it seems to deal with some pretty dark themes while still being irresistably addictive and a damn good read.

Moving on. I'm tired and want to go to bed. I need to wash my hair as well.

Here's to the long weekend. :D

New House. In the middle of our street.

Oh my gosh.

I've been in the new house for 3 longs weeks now, and haven't blogged since.

Busy? Yes..
Lazy? Probably..
Diabetic? Uhmm.. no.

haha anyway, I love my new house. It's really big and clean (most of the time, we try and let Cooper out of his cage every now and then) and my room has a really nice view of a hill and the bush behind my house, and the sun sets over it.
We're the only people on the street so far, so we pretty much do what we want as far as having loud music on and wearing bogan clothes outside, but that will change soon.

We also have to compete with axle-grinders and power-saws of a morning, as there are about 2983579238 houses being built and the tradies that surround us need to pay off the V8 utes that they scream down the road with, so they decide to come to work at 6:30am.
Why???

They also like to stare at us while we're eating our dinner, which happens at the front of the house. I'm like: "this is MY house. Leave me be! *hisss*"
People also like to drive by our house and slow down infront of it, and every time someone does it we stare at them until we leave. We don't want you as our neighbours, fiends.

The bushland behind our house (which will shortly be ravaged, stripped of its natural beauty and developed. *cries*) is a mega awesome, perfect dog-walking area. Theres a white retaining wall behind the house, then it's bush, then a road for the street behind, which doesn't have any houses built yet. So we walk Zy up that and he has a bit of a sniff around and doesn't really get the huge urge to run away from us seeing as there aren't many people, so he can run without a leash. I almost typed leach just then. Haha.

We also did alot of discoverationing and found a huge lake (no joke, it's about 30m in diametre) hidden away in the bush, and i swear to God, I love it.
Note to self: do not go crazy with power after your discovery of this fine lake and drink some water, no matter how FRESH it is, or how THIRSTY you are. You will get what feels like a stomach bug. Ew.

Incase you're wondering, yes, I did.

It's mum's birthday today, and had to (yet again) call off work.
Cheers Mark, you're a champ sometimes.
We went to the Yacht Club and had a massive lunch so we aren't eating dinner tonight, which is how i like it. Plus as i said, i feel sick.

I watched SlumDog Millionaire just now, i love it.
If you want to see a video of my house (you creepy, hippie little pagans), here's the YouTube site.
*The video is of before we moved in, add some beds here and there and couches and stuff and ta-da! My house.

^ I can't remember which one's which, one of them (I think the one with the middle and bottom levels) is older than the other one..

Enjoy!
I'm off to read more Jodi Picoult.

CROSS C(o)UNTRY

Today was cross country day.
It was:
-A wake up call and a reminder to try and find a decent gym in this place.
-Hot.
-Painful.
- and Fun too.

Millie came first (yay!) and i finished (yayyyyy!)

We had a different track this year, this time it wasn't a mountain-owning track but a loop from McDonalds, past Lake Callemondah (the closest living relative of Lake Springfield, but MORE polluted) and back. Our school decided too many kids were scraping their faces off on the OLD course, and too many parents were having a bitch about that.

I'm in a really cranky mood now, though.
#1 Because I'm dehydrated as shit. My teacher basically said to me "No, Jade, you may not take about 5 seconds to run to Lavella court and get your waterbotte, we're going RIGHT NOW."
#2 I was sick BEFORE i was forced to exert myself, and my lungs are aching from a mixture of being unfit, being SICK and making Pterodactyl noises FAR too loudly, and often.
#3 Work called because someone who I (from the kindness of my heart) gave my shift to because they weren't going to be here this weekend and needed SOME work so they had money, decided to not want to do the shift anymore. I was like, umm it's YOUR shift now, you wanted it, i gave it to you, find someone else to do it. And work called. ehhh.

Japanese was annoying. We had Mrs Coleman. The Colemanator is only just BEARABLE if she doesn't talk for the duration of the lesson, but is insaney irritating before 10:00am.
But she doesn't know that.

Last night I wrote some more of my story for English, i'm basing it on a little old lady who used to live accross the road from me, and how I always felt some weird friendship with her despite the fact that we never spoke a word to eachother. She had the most amazing, hypnotic almost supernatural blue eyes which, as a kid, completely mezmorised me.

Anyway, what else happened today?
-I promised Kim and Millie a massage to whoever finished first. Millie won.
-I gave Alex a massage because he is wub and has so many knots in his back i'm surprised he's not a SHOELACE. arrrghghh it was fun.
-I got wicked sick hayfever (and so did Jess in year 8) when we had to walk through a 209587029750m long feild of long grass.
-Me Bec and Cheanna ghosted some people and I almost tripped some boy over when i got too close and stood on his shoe.
haha
-We made Mr Carseldine clap us on. I'm starting to like the guy more now that he's not my teacher and I spend a majority of my schooling life completely AWAY from him.
-Me and Bec repeatedly made Pterodactyl noises in the corridors and at lunch, pretty much the whole school either hate us or are envious of our wicked-sick vocal talent.
-My lungs got retarded from too much Pterodactyl. That's right, you can get TOO MUCH Pterodactyl. :O

I'm reading a really good book right now.
Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs (<-- spelling?)
It's good. Kindly donated by Milley (not cross-country-pwning Millie, homeroom/sister-of-Geo Milley.)
It's about forensic anthropolgy. If anyone watches BONES, it's that but less Hollywood-ified.
Ily Bones too, Sunday double episode was awesome in the face.

And OMG, apparently if I try to see Aidan when I'm in Japan (which I WAS planning to do at some point, but now I'm not sure) he gets sent home. :S

Oh no's.
Anyway I'm going to go read. And re-hydrate.
